Jackson, Reynolds hit big in spring loss to Sox

Conor Jackson has like what he has seen at the plate in the first two Cactus League games of the spring. Hitting .667 is not too shabby. Good to see that he's dialed in early.

Jackson was on base in the fourth when Mark Reynolds hit a long 3-run homer to get the D-backs going against the White Sox at TEP. That was Reynolds' first hit of the spring in 4 at-bats.

On the mound, the D-backs had Webb going today while he was battling the flu. Two shutdown innings though...

Billy Buckner, Yusmerio Petit, and Dustin Nippert among others finished out the game, with Nippert giving up 3 ER in the 9th to hand the D-backs a 7-5 defeat.

More White Sox tomorrow with Dan Haren making his Arizona debut on the hill...
