Byrnes & Young...dingers a plenty

Well....first time I've had a second to talk D-backs in a few days. Spent a couple of days in Breckenridge, Colorado, and now am in the Denver area. Seen a bit of everything: snow, rain, and warm blue skies. It's tremendous up here in the high country.

Anyway...back to baseball. Eric Byrnes hit his first ever grand salami today...are you kidding me?? His first ever? Yep. It was a shot that just barely cleared the wall in left off of Tom Glavine in the fifth. That was the clincher as the D-backs paced behind the now 6-2 Micah Owings, drilled the Braves 9-3. Chris Young started the game out with a solo shot in the top of the first....I love when he does that...sets the tone for the entire game.

One more against the Braves tomorrow with Brandon Webb going again for his tenth...think he'll get it this time.

Still on the road for tomorrow and the next day...will be back soon....happy trails....
